Tesla Model S
Since 2012 on the market and in the business segment the only serious option to drive fully electrically: The Tesla. Everyone knows him by now and it is a good example of what Elon Musk has brought to the road. The factory in California has deliberately used to compete with BMW, Mercedes and Audi but with a full electric powertrain, anticipating the developments of the future.
The special driving characteristics are mainly reflected in the lack of engine noise which is mainly stands out when driving in the city. It is then completely silent. The lack of transitions in gears gives the impression that the car is floating over the road without any drive. This is experienced as very soothing.
The seating comfort is moderate, the headroom is limited due to the sloping roof line and the rear seat gives little support to the lower legs, this is on the short side. The finish and the materials used cannot yet be compared with the major German brands that have elevated this to true art. The safety is very good, there are a total of 6 airbags and the bodywork withstands all crash tests with more than satisfactory results. The seats are all heated and the advantage with electric driving is that if you drive away immediately with ice-cold temperatures, the engine does not first have to be warm before the heater emits warm air, this is immediately available with the Tesla.
In short: when the customer is electric wanting to be transported there is really only one serious option: the Tesla.
